This is a self-hosted VPN service (OpenVPN) for School of Computer Science Undergraduate Students.


VPN for School of Computer Science Undergraduate Students

The School of Computer Science VPN provides our Students with a secure way to connect their work devices to the University network in order to access University systems when off campus. 

1, Submit your CS VPN Account request here. Once you receive the CS VPN account from CS Tech, go to step 2.

2, Download and install OpenVPN Client for Windows or Mac OS. Linux system jump to step 5.

3, Download the OpenVPN Config file that received from CS Tech, unzip and import it to OpenVPN Client. Instruction for Windows | Instruction for Mac OS

4, Connect to the imported VPN Server using your VPN user name and password that received from CS Tech. You can save your credentials in Menu->Profiles->Edit Profile. Then you don't need to manually input them every time.

5, For Linux system, download the config file that received from CS Tech, unzip and import it to your network settings. Use your VPN user name and password that received from CS Tech for authentication. (Instruction)
